Assisting 1st year biochemical students in the practicing of correct biochemical techniques. My duties were to explain, assist and supply any additional information to the students. Marking the work and handing it back on time to the students. For this position i needed a sound knowledge of my field and have the patience to assist the students.
Human Anatomy Teaching Assistant (February 2004-October 2007)
I was a teaching assistant for 1st year anatomy. I was in control of approximately 32 children. I had to have sound knowledge of anatomy to answer any questions that the children might have. I marked their books and allocate research projects to individuals to improve their knowledge of anatomy. I supervised their practical’s and ensured obedience in the class room environment. I was needed to invigilate exams and tests. I had the responsibility of ensuring the correct marks get to the faculty for semester and year end marks.
